NoorQuran was founded by a UK Muslim parent who couldn’t find tutoring that took the Quran seriously, took children seriously, and took safety seriously — all at once. So we built it.
What we believe
- Quality over speed. A child’s first relationship with the Quran shapes the rest of their life. We won’t compromise on it.
- Islamic accuracy is identity. Every word matters. Mā shā’ Allāh isn’t a slogan, it’s how we celebrate. In shā Allāh isn’t a phrase, it’s how we plan.
- Parents are the customer. A mother checking her child’s progress at 10pm on her phone. That’s who we build for.
- Scholars are partners. Three minutes between classes to submit notes — we make that frictionless, so they can focus on teaching.
How we vet scholars
- Application with qualifications, recitation video, written response.
- Auto-scoring on ijazah chains, teaching experience, language fluency.
- Teaching assessment with a senior scholar on staff.
- Probation — first ten classes are reviewed.
- Ongoing — parent ratings, observation, twice-yearly review.
Where we operate
NoorQuran is online, so any family with internet can start. We focus on UK families because that’s where our team is, our hours align, and our safeguarding standards are tightest.
