NoorQuran is governed by the scholars who understand Islamic education — not by investors optimising for growth metrics. The Scholar Advisory Council is the highest authority on curriculum, quality, and Islamic integrity within NoorQuran.
What the Council oversees.
Reviews and approves all programme curricula. Ensures scholarly standards across Tajweed, Hifz, Islamic Studies, Arabic, and Ijazah tracks.
Sets benchmarks for teacher certification. Reviews quality audits. Approves or escalates teaching concerns.
Endorsed the Shariah-aligned default matching policy. Reviews any proposed changes before implementation.
Annual review of the safeguarding policy. Escalation authority for serious concerns. Liaison with Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Reviews scholarship fund allocation. Confirms Zakat eligibility. Approves quarterly impact reporting for sponsors.
Any introduction of AI tools, automated assessment, or technology that touches learning content requires Council approval before deployment.
Who sits on the Council.
The Council comprises senior scholars representing the major institutions partnered with NoorQuran. Members are appointed through institutional nomination, not self-selection.
Meeting cadence: Quarterly. Policy review: Annual. Any policy change requires Council endorsement before implementation. Minutes are recorded and available to institutional partners on request.
