Our Duty

NoorQuran has a duty of care to all students, particularly children and vulnerable adults. Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do.

Scholar Requirements

All scholars must: hold an Enhanced DBS certificate (renewed annually), complete Level 2 safeguarding training, sign our Code of Conduct, undergo a live teaching assessment.

Session Safety

All sessions are recorded and stored securely. Parents have full access to recordings. Our AI monitoring system flags any concerns automatically. Sessions must be conducted with camera on.

Reporting Concerns

If you have a safeguarding concern, contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead immediately at safeguarding@thenoorquran.com or call our 24/7 safeguarding line. We report concerns to relevant authorities within 24 hours.

Training

All staff and scholars receive annual safeguarding refresher training. New scholars complete training before their first session.
